I explored Google Reader- which makes so much sense -I wish I had thought of it myself.
I have also subscribed to a blog featured in the cache we were supposed to select from.
I actually chose a colleague who continues to amaze me with her wealth of knowledge.
She commented that she wanted to challenge herself to avoid utilizing what now seems to be older ways of teaching. I hold the view that some of the older ways are also the best and not be lost on the new generation. That said, I look forward to learning, like her, about newer 21st Century methods of instruction.

I agree with Beefing Up Skills. I also hope to learn many things. The idea of Google Reader makes so much sense- I think it will save me time. I also feel like the more confident I am in the use of technology the more I will pass that on to my future students. I remember one thing from school that stuck with me. Technology Bridges the Achievement Gap. I look forward to taking part in this effort.

I chose JP because she is a colleague wo works in the same area of study as I do. I respect her and look forward to learning from her.
M.M.,
ReplyDeleteDid you read a specific article that talks about technology bridging the achievement gap? I would love to read it!
I have read about Professional Learning Networks (PLNs) and I think this Technology Challenge is a great way to get us connected to each other and helping each other learn.
